I had a cone beam CT scan before my tooth implantation to see how the post would fit into the bone. It revealed the effects of a long-standing injury that I had long forgotten about. If it hadn't been for the three-dimensional image, they wouldn't have noticed such a small thing on a regular X-ray, but because of it, the tooth might not have taken root.So this diagnosis is necessary.
